This page will update residents of the California Suites Hotel in San Diego, California about a pending lawsuit.
If you stayed at the California Suites Hotel between July 7, 2011 and November 1, 2014 for at least 14 consecutive days and were required to check out/move before the 30th consecutive day, a class action lawsuit may affect your rights.
On March 10, 2017, the San Diego Superior Court certified a class of former residents meeting the above definition.

If you do nothing, you will automatically be included in the class action. If you wish to exclude yourself from the class, which would allow you to pursue your own separate lawsuit, you must follow the instructions in paragraph 16 of the court notice by October 31, 2017.
If the lawsuit is successful, you may be entitled to receive monetary compensation for each time you were required to check out of the Hotel.
Further updates will be posted on this website in November or December 2017.
