This page will update residents of the Norwalk Inn about a pending lawsuit settlement.  UPDATED June 1, 2022.

If you were a resident of the Norwalk Inn in Norwalk, California, for at least 15 consecutive days between July 1, 2016 and May 31, 2018,  you may be entitled to receive monetary compensation as part of a class action settlement.

On May 17, 2022, the Los Angeles County Superior Court granted preliminary approval to a class action settlement for:

All persons who resided at the Norwalk Inn & Suites for at least 15 consecutive days between July 1, 2016 and May 31, 2018, and who were required to move out or to check out and reregister before the expiration of 30 consecutive days of occupancy.

You may receive a settlement notice by US Mail sometime in June or July 2022.  The Notice will state how much money you can be expected to receive if the settlement is granted final approval on August 30, 2022.  It will also explain your right to object to the settlement.
